ABSTRACTRenewable Energy Sources (RES) are well – defined as energy sources, that are in abundance within the natural surroundings and are much inexhaustible. In addition, hydroelectricity (HE) is a vital part of world renewable energy supply and hydropower remains a bulk source of electricity generation because of its environmental friendliness in nature. Modeling is the analysis of the non-linear models which represents the fundamental parts of the hydropower plant (governor, turbine, servomotor). This paper studies accurate and elaborate hydraulic turbine and governor models and its implementation in MATLAB/Simulink combined with the Simscape Power Systems (SPS). An effort has been created to develop a plant model and examine the suitableness of controllers during a governor model for fault incidence within the system by means Simulink based simulation. The Ziegler– Nichols tuning methodology was applied for specifying the gain coefficients of the governor (PID-PI) under 50% of load demand from the plant. Also, MATLAB/Simulink gave the chance to record and compare the figures of the plant with PID & PI controllers through simulation tests within the commonest cases (three-phase fault, load demand variation) with a view of finding out the potency and therefore the stability of the system.

Increasing the number of cores integrated on a chip and the problems of system on chips caused to emerge networks on chips. NoCs have features such as scalability and high performance. NoCs architecture provides communication infrastructure and in this way, the blocks were produced that their communication with each other made NoC. Due to increasing number of cores, the placement of the cores in NoC platform has become an important issue. If wecan map the application cores close to each other to place them with more communication requirements, the performance parameters will improve and the network will be more efficient. Inthis paper, we propose two low complexity heuristic algorithms for the application mapping onto NoC to improve latency. In addition, one approach has been proposed to extract an Abstract graph from an application core graph, so, using this resent approach, we can map applications in two proposed algorithms. Moreover, we use bypass routers that can route packets in a cycle from the source to destination. Proposed algorithms and previous papers were compared on two real applications VOPD and MPEG-4 and results were reported.

This paper presents the design and simulation of a typical Ka band satellite beacon receiver for propagation experimentation. Using satellite beacon signal as a reference signal in satellite wave propagation study, is one of the most important methods. Satellite beacons are frequently available for pointing large antennas, but such signals can be used for measuring the effect of natural phenomena such as atmospheric gases, water vapor, oxygen molecules, clouds, rain, dust and fog existing in different layers of the atmosphere, including troposphere and ionosphere. In recent years, different designs of satellite beacon receiver (analog and digital) are proposed and implemented. Beacon signals are used for various applications including precise orientation of the earth station to the satellite, automatic frequency control and satellite propagation research. These cases demonstrate the importance of using the reference beacon signal. To receive satellite beacon, an appropriate receiver is needed. Locking on satellite beacon signal is hard. Though conventional satellite receivers are also generally able to track the beacon signal, the nature of the signal is led to create a special receiver. In this paper, the design and simulation of a satellite signal beacon receiver have been done in Ka band.
